Our Trip to Paris Could Not Be Better

What a treat Paris has been!!! Transportation all over Paris is easy and cheap. The metro subway and the buses run every few minutes and they move pretty fast. The riding public cannot be more polite and considerate. Some of the most beautiful or interesting people get in and out. The entire city of Paris is accessible in less than half an hour for the most part. The only drawback seems to be the age of the system which did not consider the infirm or disabled, for the system…

Watch a Pro Use All Four Temperaments

What follows is an actual plea I received today from a current Presidential candidate for supporters to do phone work. Notice that all four temperaments are addressed. The beauty is in the brevity. I’ll call the candidate John. “John’s supporters will gather in homes all over Los Angeles County to make calls for John. How good are you at guessing someone's temperament?

In one of the forums, I opined that the main character in the movie Juno is Rational, in fact, a Rational Architect. I really struggled to come up with that because she seems nearly equally an Artisan Crafter to me. I often have trouble telling the difference between Artisans and Rationals. One Secret to Huckabee's Success

Mike Huckabee appeals to concrete thinkers with his concrete images. For example, he doesn’t only say the U.S. needs to be “fully committed” to the war in Iraq. He says “we need to let our troops go in  not with  a light foot  but let them go in with both feet .” As for veterans’ benefits, he doesn’t simply say our veterans deserve “better treatment”; instead, he says “our veterans should receive the first …

An Idealist Confesses

One of the gifts of this blog site is that we’re getting lots of ah-ha’s from the others. Rationals live in a world of precision – especially in research and word-smithing – to the point that the rest of us seem imprecise and are, in fact, imprecise by nature. And I believe we Idealists may be the “worst”. I see the care with which David Keirsey (the son) and Kip Parent do their research, reporting, and hypothesizing. And I see, in contrast, how ea…
