Mike Huckabee appeals to concrete thinkers with his concrete images. For example, he doesn’t only say the U.S. needs to be “fully committed” to the war in Iraq. He says “we need to let our troops go in not with a light foot but let them go in with both feet.” As for veterans’ benefits, he doesn’t simply say our veterans deserve “better treatment”; instead, he says “our veterans should receive the first fruits of the federal treasure, not the leftovers.” Hundreds of statements like these are more picturesque and memorable than most of what the other candidates are dishing out, don’t you think?
Think about it. Two-thirds to three-quarters of the electorate are Guardians or Artisans – concrete thinkers. No wonder he has such appeal! And just add the Idealists who naturally appreciate his folksiness and warm body language and tone.
If his message has integrity and the man is proven to qualified for the job – and the Rationals will surely be the first in line to make judgments about that – Mr. Huckabee may have more of a shot at the Presidency than anyone thinks!

I'm a Rational and liked Huckabee. One of the things I liked about him (and McCain, as well) was his ability to "cross the aisle" and cooperate with the other party to actually get things done. Of course, both of these candidates were intensely scrutinized for this very quality that would make them incredibly effective leaders. What a shame! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm still pretty new at trying to type others, especially figures I don't know personally ... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What types do we think they are? Does this cooperation and ability to compromize fit in with our guesses of their types? Would this be considered a perceiving trait? My impression of Hillary and Obama is much more stubborn, uncompromizing -- judging traits? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'd love to get your feedback.
