Is there a certain age a person reaches where they aren't perceived as naive and childish or something

I don't think wisdom comes with age, it's more like...experience. That just makes more sense

Excellent thought! Perhaps wisdom comes at the point in time when we are confident or comfortable enough in ourselves not to worry how we are percieved by others :-)

Absolutely! My life experiences have led me to believe that wisdom comes with continuous learning, openness, acceptance, ownership of our own positive & negative influence, identifying toxic relationship tendencies and recognizing when it's an appropriate time to KEEP MY MOUTH CLOSED & when it's appropriate to just RAISE HELL. ... But then again this is just MY concept of wisdom, NO DOUBT it is different for other folks.

BTW, I'm 42 and I still get carded when buying cigarettes. (NOT a habit I recommend) AND I am still patronized a lot by different folks. I've decided this is a power I can exploit. KNOW that I NEVER miss an opportunity to slap some correct info on unsuspecting patronizing arrogance and keep on truckin'. (BIG smile)
